Following the Hot Air Balloon Festival of previous years, the 2023 Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival with the theme “Beauty of the Ancient Capital” will be held from April 12 – 20.

The festival is organized by the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province in collaboration with Hexa Company. This is one of the main activities of the 2023 Four Seasons Festival, aiming to promote the vibrant, attractive and diverse image of Hue tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

Free hot air balloon flights to watch the city’s sunrise take place at 6 a.m. from April 10.

Each trip carries two to three passengers for 45 minutes at an altitude of 300 – 500m, ticket price is 4 million VND per person. The flight anchors on the spot with a lower price of 200,000 VND, held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., flying for 5 minutes at an altitude of 30 to 50m.

The organizers do not limit ages, but will give specific notes if visitors want to experience it. The festival is held at Ham Nghi yard, August 23 street, Hue city.

In addition to hot air balloon flying, residents and tourists can experience the underground entertainment complex with food stalls, shopping areas and games.
